Another summer in quarantine? Or a busting out, finally post-vaccination, after over a year of pandemic blues?
For this Burnaby school teacher looking forward to summer, the future is uncertain
Jack Triumph, a teacher working in Burnaby, says he was looking forward to getting together with some family in the summer. This was because it was his parents’ 50th wedding anniversary. Triumph says, “we were planning to meet up with his family in Penticton, since he thought everyone would be vaccinated by then, and things would be so restrictive.”
He says that his family were half-way through plans, that’s when the Alberta COVID cases blew up. “We can’t really be talking about getting togethers right now,” says Triumph’s sister.
”We need to put a pause on this until things get under more control here.” His sister says.
